When all the Illegal immigrant get DEPORTED would you do the same jobs as they were?Like Cleaning,Cooking,Pick fruit.

When the illegals get deported there are plenty of LEGAL immigrants who the illegals put out of work, ready to get their jobs back. How's that for a good answer? Plus, 1/4 of the drug dealers and thieves in prison currently are illegals. How exactly are they helping this country?

Here's a message to any illegals reading this, assuming you can read at all. No matter how much you whine and cry, and claim that you have some entitlement to be in America, YOU DON'T, unless you've done it LEGALLY. That means WITHOUT breaking the law. Just because you crawled over a fence or through a sewer pipe or hid in the trunk of a car to get here doesn't mean that America owes you anything. It doesn't.

If you want to be an American so badly, then show some pride and do it the LEGAL way, like my ancestors had to...and I'll be the first to shake your hand and say "Welcome to the USA". Otherwise, if you want to be illegal and start your life here by breaking the law, I'll gladly watch them deport you.

Is that a clear enough answer?

Absolutely Americans would do those jobs. What's more important is that when all the illegal aliens are gone, employers that exploit the disenfranchised and the powerless, will be forced to pay a decent wage. And contrary to popular belief, paying a decent wage WILL NOT drive up the price of goods. Buyers set the price of goods by choosing or not choosing to buy a product and greedy employers will be forced to eat the reduction in profits. Also the use of cheap illegal labor has stifled advancement in agriculture automation (fruit picker). DON'T BELIEVE THE LIES!! There's no such thing as a job that needs to be done that Americans WON'T do.

As far as home maintenance goes, Americans need to get off their butts and clean their own houses, mow their own lawns and change their kid's diapers themselves.

**** yea kick out the illegal aliens what the **** they don't deserve to be here they have their own country. trust me people being american is a right not a gift. come hells or fire i will make sure those illegal get deported. we need to let them no amnesty is not a choice. i would do the job if they leave. if illegal aliens aren't here the minimum wage would be $10 an hour so i am pretty sure we all would do it for $10 they are the reason the minimum wage doesn't rise.

75% of the jobs illegal are doing are being done by Americans.
No one has a problem with having Mexican come in to do labor jobs as long as they do it legally.
I would be happy to pay more for products Americans were doing the job. Illegals don't pay taxes or heath care and end up costing more than they save.

From an economics stand point...If americans were willing to do the jobs that illegals currently do at the same wage, there wouldn't be a market that would support the illegals would there?

Since the market exists, the answer is an undeniable NO isn't it???

We have millions of able bodied people on welfare or collecting unemployment benefits at any given time in this country. In order to qualify for benefits and actually receive benefits, they must agree to work 30 hours per week. They are sent to do various jobs based upon need. So say someone lives in Central California and is collecting welfare, well when it was time to harvest the fruit orchards they would be sent their to work to earn their benefits. This would provide them a minimum of 20 hours per week to find a job which they desire while still receiving benefits in a time of need. Lets remember welfare and unemployment benefits are only a temporary solution, the are in place to help someone out in a time of need. They were never meant to be a long term solution.

I would, but it is sad illegal immigrants will work what no white person would work. The prices of fruit have gone up because everyone is deporting illegal immigrants. Price will go up and everyone is going to complain about it. We all need to do our part.
They need to support their families too. The kind of money they make here is nothing to us, but it is enough money to raise their families well.
I would work the jobs to get them out. Overall we need to do something about it and get them out of here.

I've worked as a hotel maid, a nanny, and I've cleaned houses. If you need a job, you'll do menial labor. But since public assistance is so readily available, lazy people in our country would rather take the free money than earn it thru hard work.

if i didn't have a job and needed one, yes. for the record i have several jobs to make ends meet. i work in an office and have 3 cleaning jobs on the side.

the only way it would work is if employers paid what they should instead of taking advantage of the almost free labor.

Sure, if thats all thats available. Personally, I have skills and would never really have to, but I am not TOO GOOD to do that kind of work. Americans will do the work, but not for the slave wages the illegals are willing to do the work for. Companies will have to pay more, thats all.
