I think it makes sense. I live in a town that is very Jewish, and for the most part I support Israel, and I think Hezbollah is not doing the right thing when it attacks Israelis. But then again, Israel is doing exactly the same thing and sinking to their level. The Lebanese people shouldn't be put at risk. The attacks are growing larger and more deadly, and it needs to be stopped if there's going to be any sort of peace anywhere within the forseeable future.

I think that people in that part of the world have been at war off and on for the last 2000 years, and we aren't going to be able to magically wave a wand and put a stop to it. I think we (USA) should employ a "hands off" policy unless asked for help. No good will come of it otherwise, and this is a potential gateway to WW3 if the wrong thing is done at the right time.
