i'm going to get my ears pierced in an year when im' 16 =)
does it hurt? please tell me your experience =)

no, just make sure you follow the care directions and keep them clean!!! if they get infected then they hurt a LOT... when you get them done it just feels like a tight pinch and then they just feel kinda warm.. it doesnt hurt!! good luck!

I have my ears pierced 1..2..3..4..5..6..7 times, 3 in one ear and 4 in the other. Getting a regular ear peircing doesn't really hurt, a quick pinch that may make your eyes water for a second and then its done. They will be sore for a couple of days, especially when you have to clean them and rotate the earring, but totally worth it and not unbearable. Take a couple Ibuprofen before you go in, and you should be good.

I think so but the pain doesn't last long. The first time I got my ears pierced, they used gold earrings and I'm actually allergic to gold (didn't know this until AFTER the earrings were in), so I had a reaction and had to have the earrings surgically removed :(
But then I ended up getting 3 holes in one ear, 2 in the other, so it can't hurt but so much, you know? It's like a pinch and it stings for a bit, but after that it's alright. Good luck :)

In addition to the first person who replied, it also depends on which part of the ear that you are piercing, for example the lobe verses the cartilage. If you are piercing the cartilage, it is going to take a longer time to heal, also keep in mind that some people are allergic to any kind of piercings and will develop what are referred to as Keliods(swollen tissue that surrounds the affected area)..If this happens, remove the piercing and let the ear heal.

I had mine pierced at the age of 4. I don't even know how many times I asked the piercer, "Does it hurt..?" or "Are you sure it doesn't hurt that much?" Ear piercing is fast and very gentle. It's one of those moments you dread but realize is a piece of cake within seconds. In fact, most people feel no discomfort during the piercing.
Give it time to heal, and you're free to go!

I had my ears pierced when I was a baby, but they got infected when I was about 5 so we let them close
So when I was about 14 we got them done again...and I was terrified
I went in and I got to choose from a few different styles of earrings to pierce them with. I chose hearts with diamonds in the middle. I was sooo nervous when she started marking my ears...and she kept trying to talk to me kind of like the doctor does...when he is trying to distract you from the needles lol...BUT anyway...the gun went off, and it made a really loud noise. The noise scared me so bad I didn't even think about the little sting lol then on my second ear she did it so fast I didn't even realize what she was doing until I heard the noise...then, again, it didn't hurt.
You'll feel a little sting...but the noise the gun makes is what actually scared me lol
Make sure you trust the place you're going so you don't get infected!

No, it doesn't hurt. It's too quick to hurt. I had them do both ears at the same time. I have 4 piercings (on my ears) and none of which were painful.

no i got my 1st hole done when i was two weeks then my 2nd when i was 12 now i have 8 in my ears and my belly button it doesn't hurt at all feels like a bee sting and make sure u follow the care thing cuz if not then it hurts bad i cry cuzz i didn't follow the care thing but that should be about it

My advise would be priecing them by using a piercing needle than by a pistol, because it is more chance that you get infection when using a pistol, and more pain, because it puts the earring straight into your ear without making a hole before, as it is done with a needle.

I am barely in my teens and i got my ears peiced when i was 7! It doesnt hurt at all.i didnt cry and if u are gonna be 16 whne u do it you dont have a problem. just ask them to use a peircing gun

Why wait till your 16?I had mine done when I was 11...it only hurt for a split second...not like the belly button.Now that hurt alot!!
