This question isn't really answerable w/o knowing both the size/shape of the window you have, the amount of money you're willing to invest in decorating it, and your merchandise.

That said, the best displays are going to be creative, and take the basics of advertising into consideration: layout, color, etc.

For example, assuming the following was possible, you might consider hanging a tribal cloth in the background of the window, tied back to one side like a curtain. Now, you need something for the window ledge/shelf. Let's assume the hanging cloth is a complex design w/ lots of colors, you'd want something simple so the viewer's eye doesn't get confused. Maybe put a wooden chair, angled, on the other side, w/ a folded stack of more cloths on top. The uppermost one could be pulled loose, to trail towards the floor.
Then maybe place a couple of small clusters of tribal pots and containers on the sill/shelf. Not a lot, just a group of three and a group of two, maybe.
If you can put a couple of thin, tall items in the containers, great (back scratcher, etc).
Personally, I'd finish it off by having the sill covered in white river stones, to give the window a real point of contrast and to set off the items.

Why am I suggesting this design? b/c it's simple, but shows off a lot of your product. It also gives suggestions of ways in which the products could be used -- the containers don't have to be for flowers, they could be used in the bathroom for items, etc.
What it isn't is particularly creative, it's just a basic design.

More creative would be something like... hanging varoius vases at angles, like they were pouring water, then attaching semi-tranparent blue cloth inside them, so it spills down to the sill like water. Pretty, simple, a little more unique. It's great for drawing attention to the vases, and their designs, but not so good for highlighting the variety of your stock or what it can be used for.

Hope this helps some, and good luck.

Group objects by odd numbers, either 3's or 5's

Try to vary objects with different heights sm, med, lrg, or sm, lrg

Make good use of vertical space. Have shelves everything at table height is boring, But don't have one shelf directly over another, that is too grid like. Maybe some shelves you can put any wear, like Ikea.

Use some good background color. Like a nice rich paint that will complement the tones in your items without competing. Like a full deep brick red, or burnt umber, or golden yellow.

Then add texture with some fabric, either a curtain you can drape just for accent, or some fabric you can drape across a couple stacked cubes, or on an ottoman. Hancock fabric's has some Ethic and tribal fabrics. Try to find something with a nubby texture, different threads woven through, or maybe some wood or shell beads. Depending on the items you sell.

If you sell candles place a "candle scape" on a shelf too (un-lit of course): 1. charger size plate in gold, 2. three pillar candles of different heights, 3. some glass stones, or polished stones, 4. Cool wood beads tossed in with the stones 3 or 5)

Lighting is SUPER important. Bad lighting scares customers away. If you are going to spend on anything, do it on the lighting. It can make the difference between something looking classy or something looking "bargain basement" Again try Ikea for good deals. But if you can afford it go to a local professional who can set you up. Try some track lighting, or spot lighting. Don't be afraid to light from the bottom on some of the larger/ more dramatic pieces in the window. Don't forget Mirrors double the light, and vain people pause for a second to check themselves out...They might look at your stuff while they are there.

I hope this helps.
