I know this sounds corny but I'm hoping to get some honest answers to this. Have you ever had a friend you talked to here on Yahoo answers and then suddenly with no warning they stopped talking to you and changed their id? I think that if they didn't want to talk to you anymore they would have the decency to at least tell you why. This has been bothering me and I just thought I would ask to see if anyone else has experienced this before.

And adding to what Winter said, maybe she was going through a transition and was "experimenting" with her own feelings and was trying to figure out who she was and what is her space in this world. So yes, maybe you were used and that can be construed as rude. But when you're drowning, do you even think of thanking your rescuer? Just be glad if she has found her inner peace, or at least is heading towards it and might get there... tomarrow.

Compounded with that, maybe she figured out that Orange#### is not far enough... or maybe she saw that she was just another for you, in a game she was not willing to play. Honestly, if you had no second intentions, does it really matter?

How do you know she changed her ID?

Maybe she just canceled her yahoo. Could be that she changed her internet server.

Maybe her computer is not working. Maybe she didn't pay her bill. Possibly she's grounded from the computer (don't know how old she is). Maybe she found a boyfriend and wants to persue a relationship.

In other words, maybe its not you. Don't be hard on yourself.

If you really think it is you, try to think back...did you say anything to offend her or scare her off?

Hope you're able to figure it out.

You said to be honest, right? I have it narrowed down to several possibilities: You have offended them with something you said2) they were being sneaky and dishonest with you from the jump. Either way you shouldn't worry another minute about them. That is why I don't take most on line folks too serious.

I've actually done that before--quit talking to someone, then changed my ID. I did it because the guy was freaking me out!
I wouldn't worry about it---I'm sure he/she has their own reasons.

"Ouch!" Harsh question and responses... " But maybe she was just scared and uncertain of if it was right or wrong... Do you really think she did it intentionally to bother you? Speaking from experience, I highly doubt it. I am sure she was honest to you and yes, she should have explained but maybe didn't know how..
