Jews think God worships them. Some "Chosen people", huh?

You obviously are a fool when it comes to religion and what Judaism as a religion implies. So I'll try to educate you.

Judaism claims they are a light unto the nations, meaning that they believe that they need to help the nations, be an influence for them, and help them walk on the correct moral path. In order to do this, each Jew is commanded 613 commandments plus many more within the Oral Law also passed down by G-d to the Jews at Mt. Sinai. As a Jew follows these laws, he/she conditions him/herself to act in a proper way that can help the other nations act correct and live to their full potential on this world, and experience a wonderful world to come. All the Jew asks of the other nations is to follow 7 Noahide laws that were given to Noah after the flood. These 7 laws are simple, easy to follow and practical for a productive and well nurtured society (ie. don't murder, don't cheat on your wife, don't practice idolatry).

The Jew does not in anyway look down at the other nations, they don't think the rest of the world should be Jewish like them. In fact they convince non-Jews to not convert to Judaism, and only convert non-Jews if the person truly wants to be a Jew and knows the many laws that comes with such a religion.

Jews don't want to kill those who are not like them. They don't want to blow themselves up and blow others up because they are not Jewish. They don't want to ram planes into buildings and kill non-Jewish civilians. And they don't advocate they are the best and G-d loves them more.

For heavens sake, the only thing the Jew feels by saying they are G-d's chosen people is that they have a responsibility to help the nations follow the right moral path and should help the nations. To diss that and put the Jews down for feeling that way is very low and wrong, and shows complete ignorance of the truth.

Please think harder next time.

Oh and to answer the first thing. Jews commit grave sins when they steal from anybody, Jew or non-Jew. I am not sure what you are reading or where you heard not that. Maybe a source from the bible or something would be helpful when you ask a question, but this has no solid basis whatsoever.

Hey, yeah, well, every religion thinks they're the best, but I think it's the Vikings you're talking about there. They were allowed to lie to any non-Viking that they met, and it didn't mean anything.

You know, there's theory and then there's practice, especially for religion. I mean, in the Bible one of Jesus's disciples cut another man's ear off when they came to take Jesus away. He'd heard of "turn the other cheek" but under the circumstances he figured that there was an exception. Exceptions are what fuels all this negative behaviour from so-called religious people, and based on this negative behaviour people make assumptions. There's essentially nothing wrong with religion, it's the people that try to follow it!

You need to stop getting your information from pastors that when they see a Jew they say "they are Gods choosen people", but when they are talking about Jews they say "that Jews think they are better than everyone since they are Gods choosen people."

I am an atheist and I don't care oneway or another ... start making your own decision and quit seeking them out from strangers that talk to large crowds on Sundays ...

yes the jews are the chosen people
thats true, but chosen for what?
the bible (the same book that denotes the choseness also) specifies what the jews are to do
as be a [moral] light for the world
the jews have lots of rules which are supposed to make em behave VERY moral and they should be examples of kindness to others

Israel as a country is comprised mostly non practising jews so please dont use them as an example

I have never heard that. I have known several Jews and found them to be honest (almost to a fault) and hard working. Why ask questions that would spread hate toward them?

Did you surely bypass out and purchase the talmud written in a e book? Or do you only google it and positioned each of the costs from a unreliable web site? My wager is on the 2d one. Get your self knowledgeable on Judaism before you bypass round claiming that we are evil, raping, devil worshippers. that is only pathetic.

I've never heard of it. I think you're just driven by hatred. I've heard "they're God's chosen people" before though. I wonder what they really mean by that??
