I know sometimes they do outrageous things, and even then I can see to a point why ppl talk about them so much, but what is it with ppl being so caught up on what everyone else is doing? Is it just because they are famous?

People are caught up on celebs for entertainment. And some people are just nosy and want to know what's going on in other people's lives. I'm not caught up on celebs but occasionally I buy a magazine to read about the outrageous and stupid things they do. It amazes me how people with so much money and fame can do such dumb things!

I don't care about celebs, but I sort of understand why other people do. It's not a matter of them having "enough on your plate worrying about yourself". It's that when people pay attention to what celebs are doing, that's a break from worrying about your own problems. It can also be a way for people to convince themselves that life wouldn't necessarily be any easier if they were rich and famous.

I'm not caught up on celebrities. I do believe it has alot to do with entertainment and advertising. Sometimes celebrities are good for those who need a role model but other things I do agree that people need to worry about their own life and try to do something about it. I don't see celebrities worrying about a lower class life and besides they can't if they have 3 million fans.

To each it's own, as long as you're not stalking them. People are always going to talk about famous people, that's what makes them famous, the attention, that we normal people, give to them.
