Welcome to the world. My heart has been broken many times, and by now (I'm 55) it's very difficult to trust women.
The important thing to hold on to is that love is the greatest good and the ultimate value. Without love, life isn't worth living (in my opinion). Cherish love, and lavish it on your friends and relatives if you don't have a partner. There are some shallow, self-seeking people, but there are also a lot of people who are worthy of trust.

just try to find the bright side in something else and concentrate on it. It takes time, but eventually you'll start to feel better, although it doesn't seem like it ever will. I find that just waiting it out is the best way to handle it. If you need to, write a journal entry or a poem about it.

I have just been through this. I had all sorts of people trying to cheer me up. It sucked. I decided to embrace my hurt and pain and work through all the emotions. I had read that in order to get over real pain you need to get through it by feeling every emotion. The last thing you need to hear is it will get better (we already know that). In so many other cultures they are taught to show real grief and emotion. I think that is a more helpful way.

Time and good friends are the only thing that I know that can help you now.
Try not to dwell on it, I know how hard that is and trust me I have been where you are now. You just have to realize that its ok that it has happened learn from it and try not to make the same mistakes again. Hugs

It happens... and will most probably happen again... and again... But don't become bitter ! Life and love will help you to become yourself and then things will get better ... It's all about learning and experience ... It'll be better when you have experience... You'll appreciate yourself more and see others for what they are ... You'll be able to make better choices and create more solid relationships ...

Good Luck ! And take things in your stride ;^)

dear there is always a first time for everything. You are still young and there are still plenty of guys out there for you to know. This guy might not even be the correct guy for you. Dun be sad and take things easy. Try meeting up with more friends and talk to them. always remember that the guy who break up with you is the one losing not you. Remember to stay clam and be happy k...:)

Keep working hard to keep yourself happy. It's going to be really hard for you to keep yourself preoccupied with other things to think about for awhile.. just know that there's always someone better out there for you.. most people get their heart broken- it takes time to heal , but we come out fine! And you will too!!

To relate I have had my heart broken many times, and you learn to get stronger everytime. But sometimes you can get distant from people. Things will get better.
