you don't "open" an ISO file...it is an image file.
you can use most burning apps to burn ISO to disk, then you can access it.

You can download Nero if your current CD/DVD software doesn't do ISO.To tell if your current writing software does ISO X2 L click the ISO file.Your writing program will start up and the information in the ISO file will be written to the disk.Nero is a 30 day trial after that it's stuck in your computer!

.iso file is a CD/DVD image file
There several options to use it.
1) write the file to CD/DVD
2) use WinRar or some other program that can create and/or open .iso files

Use Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120% to mount them on a virtual drive. You can also use Nero to burn them to CD
