Eat healthy foods, particularly fresh veggies, chicken and fish, brown rice, Shredded Wheat, eggs, soy milk, tofu, etc. Improving your diet to cut out sweets and empty calories is the very best thing you can do. Also make sure you cut out soda pop and start drinking 8 glasses of water a day instead.

Then work on your posture. Strengthen your back and your stomach muscles so that you're standing straight with your stomach muscles tightened.

Finally, do sensible exercises for 1 hour 3 times a week. Don't overdo, just be sensible. Work with your gym teacher or a trainer at the community center to find the right exercises for your body.

Getting rid of it "fast" is not so good. Getting rid of it permanently is the real answer. That takes changes in your lifestyle to make sure you fix the problem that caused it.

1. Walk 30 minutes every morning. Not 2-3 times a week, every morning.
2. Try the South Beach Diet - it takes off belly fat first. You can get this book very cheaply from ebay. (www.ebay.com)
3. Every night, do either a sit-up routine, or get a video. I still use the Good Ol' Abs of Steel video. I find it the easiest to use.

I went from a size 16 to a size 6 last summer. I was always thicker in the middle. After I give birth to my twins this year, I'm going right back into this routine. After easily getting into the habit of eating healthy foods, I am consistently maintaining a healthy weight with my pregnancy.

No pizza or similar junk food, and try to eat only enough to be full. If you stuff yourself, you'll feel uncomfortable and probably gain a lot of weight.

Exercise too! If you don't like boring stuff like running and doing pushups all day, then play DDR or something. Newer versions of the game have a workout mode that counts your calories burnt for you.

There's no real fast way, except for exercise and diet change. My friend lost about 50 lbs over one year by biking to school and eating heathily.

Crunches, pilates...

Or liposuction, if you have the $$$ to spare...

Otherwise just watch what you eat and do lots of exercise!
