What is the dosage you are taking (how many mg., how many times a day)? And for how long do you take it?
Dr. Thomas Hale is the world's foremost expert on drugs and breastfeeding; you can read what he writes about Vicodin on his Web site (see sources section below). You may need to sign in as "guest" to read the Web site, but you don't have to give any personal information.

According to Medications & Mothers' Milk by Dr. Thomas Hale (THE expert on this topic) Vicodin is a "L3" which means "moderately safe" for lactating mothers.
Most authors suggest that doses of 5 mg every 4 hours or more has a minimal effect on nursin ginfants, particularly older infants. To reduce exposure of the infant, attemt to feed infant prior to taking the meds.
Under pediatric concerns, Hale says none have been reported via milk but observe teh child closely for sedation, apnea, and constipation.

You've asked 3 doctors, a minimum of 1 pharmacist and checked WebMD and were told it was OK.
Why ever would you want to come to a Q&A site full of teenagers, assorted buffoons and people untrained in pharmacology to answer your question?
If you're truly concerned about the Vicodin, stop taking it for your sake as well as your baby's. Ask your doctor to prescribe a pain reliever that isn't a narcotic or addictive so you won't have to worry needlessly about it.

I would think anything you put in your body would be transferred to the baby via the breast feeding. But I am in no way a medical professional. I just don't think it could be good for him. If I could avoid taking the vicodin at all I think I would try. I guess it all depends on how badly you need the vicodin? If the doc's say it won't hurt, they should know.

You're walking a thin line with that. A very thin line. Vicodin is highly addictive in adults which is why you can't pick it up from the pharmacy by yourself if you're under 18. It's a heavy narcotic. It could be dangerous for your baby. I wouldn't take it and nurse just to play it safe.
