A real friend will like you for your real self. If you can make friends while being yourself (no fronting) then that's a good indicator. I think trust is the most important quality in a friend.

there are no 'real' friends out there, we people always change around, sometiems to walk over u, sometimes to rely on u. Friends r not a specific set of guidlines, so dont expect every 'friend' to be the same.
Otherwise, see it u can trust them vice versa, trust is the problably the best way to see if he/she is a 'true' friend

To me a true friend is going to tell you like it is. There is going to be honesty, respect, caring, and will be there as you are there for them. I have had three true friends in my life and a lot of acquaintances.
