well the reason is my friend is more in to him than i do. but i do like him a lot.

Man, this is like reading my story from High School!! Long story short, my friend and I made a bet on who would get a date with a guy in our Chem class that we both liked, when he found out about it, he turned to my friend and said, when would you like to pay her the ten bucks?!?! We have been together for 10 years. Best thing I ever did in my life.

Just talk to your friend prior to saying yes. Tell her that you like him too and he asked so you're saying yes. Don't make her find out through the grapevine.
