Hector is the man! Don't can it for the same reason floppies are still around. You can store pictures, make recovery disks, etc. Although old, so is a 50's era vette.

I'm going with the first post, why are you still using Zip Disks after all these years. Unless there is very important, life or death data on them, toss them out the window, use them as coasters and spend $25 to $40 on a flash drive (256MB to 2GB in that price range).

I think that the zip drive will show as any drive does in My computer.L click start---R click MY COMPUTER--MANAGE---Disk Management.R click the Zip disk ---there you can choose the partition size and so on.

Sorry, you can't partition removable media. Removable media can have only one partition and that must be primary partition.
