anyone expiriencing breakthrough bleeding?
i have just began my birth control pills...(7 days ago) im expiriencing light breakthrough bleeding which was only noticable from wiping for one day..the rest were only noticable when using a tampon,and just very small amounts...any women who expirienced breakthrough bleeding please contact me on my AIM... addtional info- i began my BC pills the first day of my period...(sunday) i had a heavy period and clotting for 2 days then the 3rd was light, since then ive just been havin what i think is breakthrough bleeding

Go to a doctor.
It might be that your BC pills are too strong. If you can order European BC pills, they have much less of the hormones that are in the American pills. The American pills have more, because drug companies are afriad of being sued if you get pregnant.

I had been on and off birth control since I was 18 and each time I started up again, for the first couple months I had breakthrough bleeding. I think it's pretty normal. Also, depending on which birth control you're on (i was on ortho tri-cyclen) the hormone levels can be very low and that could be the reason for the breakthrough. Talk to your doctor just in case.

I think you should really get checked out by your Doctor as breakthough bleeding can have various causes..so get to the Docs and put your mind at rest!
