Brazil: won 5 times (1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002)
Italy: won 4 times (1934, 1938, 1982 and 2006)
Germany: won 3 times (1954, 1974 and 1990)

Two teams won twice:
Uruguay (1930 and 1950)
Argentina (1978 and 1986)

Two teams won once:
England (1966)
France (1998)

That's all. Just seven countries had the pride and joy of commemorating the title, although we've already had 18 editions of the World Cup.

i'm going to be un-bias right here. Argentina and England are mediocre in comparison to Brazil, Germany, Spain who're superb communities. Italy and France have lost high quality and can have a tense time to strengthen from their communities. The Netherlands are a complicated section, they have performed o.k. yet we can understand whilst they face a good opponent. South Africa and u . s . a . are basically undesirable communities. Portugal could be as good as Argentina, England best now.
