If a multi-time WWE champion can be underrated, it is HHH. He has been in the promotion for a decade now, and for most of that time, he has been the number one heel. While he did have some face turns, (and the jury is still out on how this latest DX reunion is going to go), HHH has basically carried the promotion from the "bad guy" standpoint, while other stars have taken extended leaves to make movies(Rock), build families(Undertaker, among others), etc. He is the modern day Ric Flair, and its no small coincidence that the 16 time Champion has hung on so long to mentor HHH. Keep in mind that this guy tore a leg muscle during a match, and instead of signaling to the ref that he was legitimately hurt so they could do a quick finish, actually finished the match by still selling moves because he knew he was the only heel star in the promotion.

I agree that Triple H has done it all in WWE and was a great heel, but I think Bruno Sammartino is a more underrated multi-time champion than Triple H because nobody even mentions him anymore. Whether you call him "Da Brune", "The Italian Strongman", "Superman", "The Living Legend" or "The Original Italian Stallion", he held the title longer than any other champion (7 years, 8 months and 1 day), with 2 title reigns that lasted a combined total of almost 12 years (1963-71, '73-'77). He had his neck broken by Stan Hansen and continued wrestling, taking only 2 months off before getting back in the ring, and wrestled into his early 50s. He's sold out Madison Square garden more times than any other wrestler, and never lost a Steel Cage match in his career.

Triple H has done it all in the WWE quite well. Marrying Vince McMahon's daughter, Stephanie was about the biggest mistake of Triple H's career. Triple H is a heel, he can be strange and moody in his decisions. Triple H could be a major movie star, better than "The Rock". Triple H should have stayed loyal and with Flair, "The Nature Boy", a guy who is successful like himself with the WWE belts.

Triple H could do the "Heel" his sleep.
Yes he play the heel to the best I have ever seen anyone.
Anyone that can go through that kinda of pain and still wrestle is "That Damn Good".
