antifreeze was pouring out... of course i freaked and started asking ALOT of questions..could be the water pump or the thermostat, hoses, etc....help?!!!

all the above, or it could be your radiator.sounds like radiator to me. but if it is you might end up replacing all the above also.thermostats are cheap, and so are hoses and you can do ti yourself.radiator and water expensive and probably need a pro.

Yep, water pump, thermostat, or a broken hose. Maybe a freeze plug but doubtful. Find out exactly where it's leaking. You can start it when cool and dump water in to find the leak. Put the cap on and let it warm up if you need to pressurize the system. Good luck.

Yes to all. Start by finding where the leak is coming from. That will tell you what to fix. If it was "pouring" out, it sounds like a hose came loose.
