Yes, Desert Inn, is the correct answer. That, and only that was leveled for Wynn. He has however, leveled other hotels in the past, for his previous properties.
The comment about Wynn's investors making put a golf course in, are incorrect. Wynn wanted a golf course, since he no longer owned Shadow Creek. The golf course though will be closed within the next 5 years, to make way for a large lake surrounded by many more new hotels he plans on building.

Mirage Resorts was sold to MGM Grand Inc. in 2000, to form MGM Mirage. With the money he made on that deal, and with his ability to secure ever-greater financing, Wynn built a new resort, his most expensive yet, the Wynn Las Vegas, which opened on the former site of the Desert Inn on April 28, 2005. Wynn is building a casino in Macau, a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of China. This property, known as Wynn Macau, is scheduled to open in September 2006.

The first to go was the Augusta Tower of the Desert Inn, in October 2001. It was a big deal because it was right after 9/11, and usually casino/hotel implosions are big deals, everyone comes out to watch. But they made this one private. Then when we were still building Tower One (when the casino was still called "Le Reve" on the blueprints) St. Andrews and Palms Towers came down, in August 2004, so that the Wynn Tower Two, Encore, could be built. (We're building it right now, to open December 2008.)

The Desert Inn. He first demolished the tower where his mentor, Howard Hughes lived for 7 years. Than the rest fell one at a time.
The Golf course was to be turned into housing, but his investors demanded golf. So he re-opened it and will build another one out by Shadow Creek
