It's ok for anyone to accept a gift and not expect to return the favor. Unless you know that the person who is giving the gift to you is a scumbag. Then you owe it to yourself to decline.

The whole point of giving somebody a gift is for them to show how much they care and love and respect the other person.
it is just as much as ok for a female to accept gifts from men and not expect anything in return as it is for females to give gifts to males and not expect anything in return.
You should be only giving something if you really mean it, and there should be no question about getting anything in return. It defeats the object.

Its okay unless that person is not willing to get anything in return too but if their expecting something in return that you can't give just don't accept the gift cause everyone has a different point of mind. I understand where your coming from because im like that too even with my boyfriend.

Have we really created a world, that so revolves around sex that we are not even able to give gifts to people without expecting, or fear the giver expects a sexual favor in return?
I give gifts to people in my life...men and women, no strings attached. That is what a GIFT is.
If there are strings attached...it's not a gift it's a barter. Now if we are talking in the respect of courtship relationships....men have been giving women gifts to woo them since the dawn of time.
A woman has to ask herself why they are giving them, why she is accepting, and if she is exploiting them or not.
In all things be balanced and respectful, and you can't go wrong.

Well, My boyfriend wants to give me this and that, and I know he doesn't expect anything in return, But For me to accept the gifts would make me feel guilty cuz I didn't have anything in return and also I have this thing in me that I have to always give something back. Also, I don't accept cuz I don't wanna have a sugar Daddy.

Absolutely not. Men don't just GIVE anything because they want to be nice and sweet. They expect something in return. If you accept anything thinking that they don't want anything in return, then you are looking for some kind of trouble.

once in a great while you'll find a guy that don't want anything for his giftsBUT most of the time they want something in return . if you've found one then you really need to hook up with him.
