You should qualify for WIC, Medicaid and maybe foodstamps. Go to your local health department to find out about all of them.

Great advice!!! Get everything you can. I think it wouldy be best if you just stay home with the baby as long as you can. Try to get as much highschooling done before you have the baby. Once you have her/him, take at least a few months off, then get your GED, etc. Your school district counselor should also be able to give you advice. IF you come across any SOCIAL SERVICE person who is rude or unsupportive, move on to another one. You need all of the support you can get.
You could consider adoption. You have alot of options. GOOD LUCK. YOU CAN DO IT! :)....it will be hard, but YOU CAN!!!

Yes you and he could qualify for food stamps- financial help- even an apartment based on your income. The baby will be eligible for WIC which buys all the formula- cereal and juice for the baby! Depending on your state laws! Go to Health and Human services and they can give u a list of things they can help u with! They can even get u a medical card for when u or the baby get sick! Good luck to u

MUCH more than you would have in a month on 2 minimum wage jobs to start. You would have no life beyond the baby. You also could not afford an apartment, a car, food, or any essentials for yourselves.

BE SMARTER THAN THAT--DON'T HAVE SEX!!\

If you are pregnant already visit
Social Services ASAP.

I'm 5 months pregnant, 21, and my fiance is 22. We make $10.00/hr full time at each of our jobs. Without the baby, we are getting by just fine, but once the baby is born, we will have to cut back on a lot of things we do for fun. I applied for MediCal and was approved, so it covers all of my prenatal services! I'm almost positive you would be approved. We're not married yet though, so that might be why I got approved...I suggest you should wait to get married after the baby is born, so you can get free MediCal for you baby. If you aren't pregnant, I suggest you wait till you are older...trust me, it'll be a lot easier!!!

Well, if you went with all cheap-brand stuff it would be around $900 for all the equipment such as a crib, carseat, clothes, etc. $900 bucks isn't that bad---but that's not including food, diapers, medical bills, doctors appointments, clothes for when they outgrow the clothes you originally bought them, child care, etc. Was having sex really worth it? Oh wait, then you have to buy toys, bottles, crib sheets, blankets, stuff to bathe them with, bibs, more clothes, formula, thousands of diapers that run about $25 for a package of them and then they're gone within a few days and you have to buy more, diaper wipes, and even more stuff you can't even think of right now. It's not worth it and the baby is really the one paying for it, not you. The baby is the one who is going to grow up with a terrible life because you decided to have sex before you were married. Just give it up for adoption because there are plenty of parents out there who would give anything to have a baby.

This was my health project in HIgh School and for one job a baby with medicare and insurance will cost about over $2,000. But we are not talking about babysitting. If you have two jobs and neither of you are in college, i suggest you should go to college. Even with a low degree will help you even more than you think. Good Luck.

First it depends, on where you live some states like Illinois for an example won't give you much of anything. Regardless of how much you make. You can get WIC and other assistance but like I said the state you live in determines how much you will get. All you have to do is go to your WIC office and/or make an appointment and tell them your situation and ask for more information for assistance.

Put the baby up for adoption. Go to college. College graduates earn more. Have another baby later in life, when you can better afford it.
