Do u think American cartoons are making fun of anime shows?

sometimes. other times they are paying hommage to anime.

anything can be made fun of. But American cartoons making fun of anime shows is kind of a respect thing I think. Acknowledging that anime has its merits, then taking it off, providing its not just cheap shots at the anime form.

They certainly don't animate like they used to.
But I wouldn't say that they're making fun of anime shows. American cartoons have more abstract art. I can't think of any that are making fun of anime.

Sometimes, it's depending on the show, the episode, the moment. But sometimes I don't think so, American cartoons are so... How can I explain it to you. Let's say more stupid than it use to be in the old days. Honestly cartoon network use to have the best American cartoons ever but now all they give are these stupid little childish cartoons that i personally think is making little kids (e.g. my little six year old cousins) more dumber than they need to be.
