i ahve been receiving msgs on instant messenger from an individual who says they are sleeping with my bf i have reason to believe it is my ex husband who i have a restraining order against and the msgs ive been getting lead me to believe that hes creeping around my house and looking in my windows is there any way to find out who is really doing this or what else can i do to stop this maddness

Contact Yahoo, or, and this will probably net you better results, contact the authorities.
Yahoo may not give you the information (actually, in the interest of personal privacy, I would hope they wouldn't, no offence to you) you ask for just by calling/emailing them but if you contact the authorities they can contact Yahoo and request all the records through supoenas.

yahoo wont do **** about this problem u are having ....sorry to say ....u need to get the ip # off that message...u can do that thru command prompt ....sygate.....norton...any fire wall u maybe running ...look in connection 5050 there will be yours and also the one u have an open p2p with ,....usually it comes in on port 5050.....once u get the ip ...go to who is and run the # it will give u the state and server addy .....

Yahoo can't stop them from creeping around your house. I would call the cops.

I would try to get ahold of yahoo and tell them about the situation, and see if they can locate the isp address or tell you who the account is registered to.
