Dude. If u dont like emo, u wont like Greenday. Along with the majority of people, I used to like some Greenday songs (especially hitchin' a ride and other punk rock).
Their song lyrics for "Wake me up when September ends" dont make sense at all. Its just too commercialized and all. Its not even punk nemore. Not that im into punk rock but their music sound idiotic to me. Try metal for Christ's sake. Opeth, Arch Enemy, Killswitch Engage, Sepultura, As i lay dying and DevilDriver come to mind.

I only like one song of green day. That song is called american idiot. That's my favortie because that's the only good one they have. My sister is obsesed with green day. I used to love them, now I think they've sold out and are too inside the mainstream to see that they've become what they most criticized in the past. Still like the music though. It's just their mystique isn't the same as back in the "Dookie" days.

Green Day is the coolest EVER!!! Forget you other guys, when green Day first started, they never cared about making it big. Now, with their new album, American Idiot, they're basically saying f*** all of you, we're still here, still rockin!!

A couple good songs but the whole pollitical thing is annoying after a while. Tre' Cool is awesome but Billie Joe is a bit disturbing :(

I think they rock!Greenday is so awesome and cool!How can there music be boring,theres nothing boring about it!They rock!It is so cool when they play in live concert and billie and mike run around doing tricks with there guatiar and tre' is making funny faces.Greenday rules!

there overrated, they were better when they weren't bombarded by press, when preps weren't acting punk cuz they listen to green day, for example, year b4 american idiot, punk was considered bad to rich, stuck up, hollister wearing preps, getting called punk was bad, now, the same kids are punk cuz they have green day on their Ipods, they have green day clothing, they're going to green day concerts, it fricking pisses me off
