First off, u do not have appendicitis.
Really
If u do, then you have intense pain around the belly button, and after a few hours it localises to McBurneys point, a point two thirds of the way along an imaginary line drawn between the belly button and the superior iliac crest on the right side(the bit of bone that kind of juts out from you hip).
If you can move without a lot of pain that makes you wince then you don't have problems with the appendix.
It sounds like you have seprficial pain, and seeing as it has lasted a few weeks it sugests a benign cause.
If you are bothered go see a doc who will ask u more q's and examine u.

the appendix is on the right side.. but my pain was sudden and very severe... had to be rushed by ambulance and straight into surgery. My pain was very deep.. not like pinpricks at all but more like extreme cramping.

You should visit a doctor though, to find out what's wrong there.

The symptoms for appendicitis are:
Persistant (non stop) abdominal pain
Low grade fever
Mild loose stools
Anorexia (not wanting food)

I doubt it's appendicitis. Try drinking more water and definatly see a doctor.
