My hubby's in Iraq. We see each other every 4mos for about 2 weeks. He's been there for almost 3 years.

I'm not married but I am about to embark on the longest time apart from my boyfriend since we got together 5 months ago. I'm only going away for 2 weeks but i've got a horrible feeling it's going to feel like a lifetime! I miss him already and I haven't even gone yet!

I was separated for almost two years at one time...He was working abroad. It was tough, but our commitment was strong. I remained faithful to him, but I don't think he was. I never found out anything for sure, but I had a feeling deep down. I forgave him whatever indiscretions he may have had, and we're doing fine now. I think the relationship became stronger after this period. But if I had found out for sure that he had cheated on me, I would have left him. I think the fact that he hid it so well may have saved our marriage.

9 weeks - my husband has a nerve disease and was in Chicago from March 18 to May 23 and it was so hard not knowing what was going on while they were trying all these experiments on him. We hated it.
