I agree with you 110% Poker and Darts are games, not sports....no athletic ability whatsoever is needed. For the life of me, I don't understand why FSN and ESPN devote so much airtime to it?

I can't understand why they allow so much airtime to poker on espn and fsn...kinda find it a wee bit irritating! Darts, on the other hand...nah...I guess not...even though my throwing arm will be sore after a night of darts, don't know that it really counts as a sport, but more a game of skill.

darts are a game of skill and i suppose they fall into the sports category because there is physical activity to play although not to the extent of say football.....now poker i have no idea about....i'm sure there is some skill required but when you're dealing with the variable of the unknown ( you don't know what the cards are until such time as they are dealt) this seems to be more of a game of chance or "luck" as i see it.

well you need hand eye co0ordination for darts and maybe some muscle but poker???

I hate darts though. They should call it recreational fun or something. Give it a new name. Whoever decides this stuff....

it requires good hand-eye coordination. I, for one, suck at darts. I think it takes skill!
