You can only save one of them. Who would you choose and why?

This is a hypothetical situation where you are the only one who can save them. They cannot save themselves and you have to choose just one. The other one will definitely die.

I would save my child. And if fifty children were drowning and I could save my child OR save all the other kids but had to choose, I would save my child. Because a mother has a duty to protect her kids.

Self preservation is the first law of nature. You will need to determine (1) is your love for your wife deeper than the love for your child? (2) is a child's life more important than it's mother? I really hope you don't have to decide this question, as the evolution of life comes from the woman. she can still produce another child for you. I suggest you give your question to GOD and leave it with him. You should receive an answer sooner or later.

Child hands down. It would be a very sad occassion either way, but you've got to save the one that will carry on the family name.

Man, tough question.. I would want to save my husband becuase he's number 1 in my life.. but probly end up saving the child because they have there whole life ahead of them.

it's really an unfair question but I would choose my child. A child should never die before it's parent.

my child, however if I am able to save my child who is weaker than my spouse thenI would like to think that my spouse could actuall save himself. Because if I am able to rescue my child, then you would think that a man would be able to save himself as well.
