Noise and sound are the same thing. Sound is the energy created by the impact of the tree which fell. Just because your ear wasn't there to pick up the energy of sound doesn't mean the sound didn't exist. So yes, there would be noise.
If a tree fell on a deaf man would he feel it?

Yes. Just because you aren't around to witness something, it doesn't mean it didn't happen, hypothetically speaking. The resulting soundwaves and noise that normally occur when an object falls or crashes would remain, even though no one was around to hear it.
The point is, we can assume(with the right amount of evidence) that a phenomenon occurs by using our knowledge of these sorts of things occur and apply our knowledge where it's needed.

Of course it does. Sound is the result of vibrations in the air and the tree would certainly cause those. The fact that no-one is there doesn't stop the sound. If that were the case then when you left the room and the T V was on the sound would go off.

Whether it has made a noise remains a hypothesis, based on past similar experiences. It is never a certainty because a noise does not leave any traces to be construed as evidence of the occurence.

I heard this question 40 years ago. It is still going around. Is the generation of sound dependent on perception of that sound?
What if an animal heard the tree fall? Did it make sound?
If someone stole your wallet and you thought you lost it, were you robbed?

Of course. If you put a tape recorder there, and played the tape back, you would hear the sound of the tree falling.
Sound consists of the waves produced by the source of the sound. Hearing a sound is simply our response to the sound waves.

Yes, because there will still be vibrations that will reverberate in the atmosphere...
Just because "we" wont hear it, the little forest animals will hear the thing crashing to the ground.
And even if they werent around to hear it, the sound waves would still be present, just no one to listen to them....
Sorta like a wife who never listens to her husband, when he is "right"... (But then again, no Wife will admit to that...husband being "right" that is...:)
I wish you well..

Yes, of course. If humankind didn't exist the tree still would make a sound.

Well if you mean that one solid object falling and striking another solid object which in turn causes impact vibrations through earth's dense atmosphere... Well yes... Humans named it noise... it's been here long before our existence...

It depends on your definition of noise but the air will still vibrate whether someone is there or not.
