Yes you can, i kno what you mean by sometimes its like your watching a movie, but if you want to control your dreams while your in it, this is the trick, while your dreaming sometimes you notice things that dont look right, well keep that in your head before you fall asleep so you can have that feeling ready, then while your dreaming there will most likely be something in your dream that isnt normal, when your brain realizes this, your conscious part of your brain sort of snaps awake and realizes your ina dream, then after that you can (in my experience) basically do anything you want in your dream, as long as you dont wake yourself up, This works on the same concept as waking yourself up from a dream, thats why this works best in nightmares b/c instead of waking yourself up from it like you would normally have your brain do, have your brain tell you its a dream. Then you will come awake in your head, when you get it your will absolutly know because it is the weirdest feeling in the world

People vary in how vividley they dream, and how successfully they can redirect a dream story line. With practice you can learn how to have a lucid dream. A lucid dream is when you are aware that you are dreaming, and can alter the details that occur in your dream. For instance, Say you are dreaming of a Rotweiler, you could turn it into a chihuahua. Its basically being able to control your dreams.
Here is some techniques on how to have a lucid dream:
1. In the morning, start planning your dream in dramatic, colorful detail
2. Return to your dream story at frequent intervals during the dat and go over the details.
3. Just before you go to sleep, relax, then replay your dream once again in your mind. Tell yourself that you intend to be conscious while you are dreaming
Lucid dreams also can inhance your mood. If you have trouble making decisions, lucid dreaming can help you visualize what a new job, vacation, or new home can have instore. For instance, You cant figure out how to fix the leak under your sink, a lucid dream can run that situation threw your head and give you the anwser on how to fix your problem.
Did you also know your spirit can travel to diffrent places in your dream? If you wanna know how, I will be more than happy to tell you. Just email me

It is possible to train yourself to influence your dreams but it does take some work. And usually you have to go a few times in the dream without controlling it before you do learn to do so even after the training. But when you first have the dream and remember it (we remember relatively few of the dreams we have), as quickly as possible write it down so you get a few of the details, have a notebook and pen nearby. Then the next night right before you go to sleep read over the dream and come up with a few solutions to working it out. Then be thinking about those solutions as you drift off to sleep. This keeps the solution in both the conscious and subconscious mind and whichever one handles the dream should begin remembering your solution and incorporate it into the dream. But again it takes some practice to work this out, so don't expect it to work right away.

Its not possible because dreams have roots in the subconcious but also in organic reflexes, if someone eats too much at night he or she may have a nightmare you can control the eating but not the dreams.
Some people say they can see the future or events that will happen in the future, those are sometimes fantasies and also mental images that are approach in real life, desires... most human brains do not remember every REM dream, there are short spans.
Can animals dream?

Some people are able to control their dreams, every single time they go to sleep. Most of us don't have any control, no matter how much we try.
The trick is realizing that you're dreaming while you're in the dream and if you're ever able to learn that trick, then you're in luck. I only remember doing it 1 or 2 times in my life.
You should watch the movie "Waking Life."

Try journaling your dreams for awhile. Then think about what you would like to happen next in context of all of the dreams you journal about over the course of a few weeks. This can be helpful as your dreams are often unrealized desires which do not get worked out in waking life. It is helpful to try to manifest a dream in relation to dreams already being used by your unconscious.

Yes you can! If you know you are in a dream and are watching it then that give you the power to act in it. You have to say to your self when you realize that you are in a dream? ( this is a dream over and over, then start experimenting with your dreams by trying to fly or hurting your self to see if you feel it). Once you pass that test you will be able to act out on your dreams (not all some). Make sure it is a dream and not real life or it will hurt. I had a dream where I knew I was in it. I was going to slide down a stair rail but was to scared because I was going to land on my butt. When I realized I was in this dream I went ahead and did it. It didn't hurt when I sled down and fell on my butt so I kept doing it.

I think there is a possibility that you can control your dreams. I have myself at points in time. I mean I cannot make myself dream exactly what I want, but I have made myself dream ABOUT what I wanted, I'm just not able to make it play by play action.
Just before you go to bed, focus on what you'd like to dream about, or who...do this until you fall asleep. I don't think you can control whats in the dream, the outcome is inevitably unkown, but this may help you focus on what you want yourself to dream about.

Yes, if you know you are dreaming, you can act the way you want in a dream and still stay asleep.
Also, if you think you migh have a nightmare, just say to someone " I'm going to have nightmares" . If you do this, you won't have a nightmare.
