I asked him to take my are to his house because the fiance company threaten to repo my car. i was paying them current the following week. He agreed and in the interim he wreck it ( minor damages). I filed my insurance and he refuses the pay the deducatable. I am furious because 1. He didnt tell me when he brought my car back to me, I found it later that day. 2. He says he was doing me a favor and he isnt responsible. I had to pay the deducatable myself. Should I sue and is it worth it.

talk to a lawyer about the cost of suing. how much is minor damage? how much did you actually pay because of him? take these things into account when making a decision. if it was really not that much that you had to pay, consider yourself lucky that you found out that he isn't a true friend before he did something even worse to you.

It isn't worth getting a lawyer and suing him over. More then likely you will pay the lawyer more then what the damages are worth and then some. If the damages aren't over 500 dollars then I would just chalk it up but if they are over that amount try to take him to small claims court. You might beable to get something from him.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX I hope you aren't his friend anymore because a friend would take responsibility for his actions. Secondly I would call the police just incase he wasn't in a hit and run and file a report to cover your butt so no one tries to sue you. Your insurance will go up as well. I'd sue his butt for all it was worth. And I hope you do the same. And I would never let anoyone use my car again. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Judge Joe Brown takes on case just like yours. the question is there enough damages money wise to go though all that. If not I would give one more opportunity to pay and if its a no go. I would late and count it good riddens and a lesson learned.

It sounds like your going to lose the car anyway.
The deductible is probibly 500 dollars.
The time to sue in small claims is probibly not worth it.

Call it a life lesson, and dont trust this person in the future.

It is probably not worth it. And he was doing you a favor. Let this be a lesson learned.

Pay your bills on time and take care of your own business.
