Just wondering how effective it's supposed to be b/c my g/f has one and claims it does it's job but I'm still a little worried. She also says if she were to get pregnant with it in she would have a miscarrige Is that true?

I don't think there is any Birthcontrol that is 100% affective.

I had gotten pregnant and had an IUD done and thought I had the flu. I must be very fertile because every birth control I used I got pregnant with my children.You may want to use protection just in case.

Yes, they are very effective. I have one, I've had it for over a year, and I've had no problems. And yes, if she happens to get pregnant she will miscarry. Just make sure that she checks it like she's suppost to once a month. If you're worried about it though, you can always wear protection.

i just got one put in and all the papers i got and info i read said it is 99.8% effective.
