I think he will have a solid year. He will retire with dignity.

Why does everyone blame the lack of talent around Favre for his failings last season? How about blaming the fact that his legs are showing obvious wear after a long career, and that he therefore can't run as well, or get the same leg strength behind his throws that he once did?

Or how about blaming Favre for some of the horrible decisions he made last season? He doesn't have the ability he once did to zip a pass into a small opening, yet he insists on trying it anyway. Having him pull stunts like that is the equivalent of having Jeff George as your starting QB, and nobody wants that.

Yes, Favre had a weak supporting cast last season, but to blame 29 interceptions on "bad luck" is wishful thinking or ignorance.

Favre is a HOFer, and I admire him for what he's done. However, all he's doing now is holding back the development of a young QB, and that of the Packers as a team. He should bow out gracefully, and wait for them to punch his ticket to Canton.

Brett Favre is a gunslinger, always has been, he is respnsible for his own short-comings and I do not think this will change any time soon. Favre thinks he can make any play and he looks great when he succeeds, however, when he does not, he ends up with like five interceptions in a game. He should take a lesson from Tom Brady, staying in the game and making a smart play, is better than taking a stupid risk and losing your team the game. Favre is a great player, but he believes his own hype.

I think Brett Favre is one of the true warriors of the game. I love his fighting spirit. Has there been anyone tougher than him? Not many. Last year, was a tough year for the Packers, but it would have been for any QB. you are only as good as your offensive line, and Green Bay's was horrible a season ago. If that "O" doesn't improve, it will be another long year at "The Frozen Tundra". I'm looking at Green Bay to finish 7-9. That might be good enough for 2nd in the NFC North, but out of the playoffs, I'm afraid.

I like Brett Favre and have enjoyed watching him play, even not being a Packers fan. However, I think it is time for him to retire. I think it's going to be another rough year for him and the Packers.

Brett Farve definatly has the capability to be one of the best qbs in the NFL. However, the team around him will bring him down. This year, he probally will not do much better than he did last year.

He'll have a better year than last year, but if they don't shore up the offensive line and the running game, the Pack aren't going to make the playoffs.

His team is horrendous. On a good team, I'm sure he could still do some damage.

On his current team, he is going to regret ever coming back. I hope he likes eating the grass at Lambeau Field! (sack)

He should've walked away cause if he has 2 back to back seasons like last year, he'll diminish his legacy. He's like a boxer who doesn't know when to quit and only ends up getting hurt.

Time to hang up the helmet. Go out before he embarrasses himself any further. Great QB.
