They bimble around bumping into lightbulbs, divebombing me, getting tangled in my hair and generally being revolting. Apart from the fun they provide malicious youngsters when pulling their legs and wings off I don't see the point of the grotty little buggers. Somebody enlighten me please!

I think they are the most horrid insect ever (and pointless). I am scared of them as when I was at infant school, the boys used to throw them at me. Im 30 now and still scream if one flies towards me! My mum used to pull off their wings as a child and watch them run around! I personally would rather kill them with a newspaper if im feeling brave enough to get near the things! Im so glad theyre not around all year!

I hate them as well. However they must be around for some reason. Personnally I splat as many as I possibly can as I hate the noise they make.

they are really good my daughter likes to chase the boys with them which really makes them look silly . So they do have some use that and don't every one remember them as part of growing up.

daddy long legs are actually fatally poisinous BUT they dont have long enuff fangs to bite into flesh of any animal or human. they do eat other bugs tho.

they say that Daddy-long-legs eat the smaller bugs and mosquito's....But where i live they aren't doing their job very well !!
