I personally dont because if you think about it if we could go into the future that would mean that all time exsits past, present, and future, all at the same time. And that would mean that if time travel was possible it would have already been invented in the future and people of the future would have already come back to tell and show us. This is my opinion what is yours

Time travel has ALREADY occurred at the sub-atomic level in atom smashers. There is a whole string of observances by responsible scientists in which the end products of a collision between particles appear before the collision itself. Thus, a snippet of time has been transferred to the present from the future.

This is permissible according to the theory of the "Arrow of Time" philosophy being developed at a Dutch university, by the way. In its current form, the theory allows future-to-present movement but denies past-to-present, thus avoiding a violation of the Arrow's singular direction.

I am normally open minded about things and I may be wrong but I do not think time travel is possible with the knowledge we have. It may very well be possible but it would take more mental power on a much larger plaine to make it work. I think that no one on earth has this hidden power and maybe if life does exsist beyond the stars it may not even then.
If it were possible now we would already have seen it happen and it would be well known. you would see at least one person become so lucky it would hit every newstand on the planet. Because man believes power is in money and lots of it and if it were possible the person would be able to bit on every game guess every lotto number and become the riches most powerful person on earth and I havent seen that yet.

According to quantom physics, both directions of time-travel are possible. In regular physics only forward time travel is possible. Forward time travel is proven possible. This is the experiment they used.

Take two atomic clocks carefully synchronized. Leave one stationary and put one on an airplane that makes a world trip. The one on the plane will be behind the one that remained stationary.

Time is relative to how fast you are travelling. The closer to light speed you go, the faster time goes outside of whatever is travelling at those speeds.

I think there is some current scienticif thought that time travel might be possible but only backwards to when the "time machine" is made. In other words, if I make a time machine in Jan. 1, 2006 I can't use it until after Jan. 1, 2006 to go back to that time.

I love how people feel so compassionate about time travel! HA you either believe it's possible and have no proof...or you don't believe it's possible and have no proof...it's rare that people who are worth their salt even comment on this topic...and if they did...i'm not sure i'd understand what they were saying...However, consider this...according to einstein...in places near emmense energy...i.e. nearing the speed of light or near the event horizon of a black whole. The energy levels are so high that time itself slows...and light actually bends. If you check out the source link that i left with my answer you can explore a process called Time Dilation...which is in effect a one way trip into the future. Of course it's possible...we don't know how.

From it's philosophical point of view ,it's impossible because of paradoxes it may create. As an example an individual goes back in time killing his or her own parents!

From it's scientific point of view, for a subluminal matter(matter initially moving with a velocity less than the speed of light),it's impossible to exceed the speed of light and therefor impossible to travel through time to the Absolute past(the history below the lightcone). For luminal particles (graviton,photon,...)its impossible to change speed for non can reach them so non can "tell" them to go faster!
For superluminal particles(tachyons) ,its possible ,but tachyons either do not exist or ,if they do, they do not interact with ordinary matter(subluminal and luminal).

So according to today's accepted science and philosophy, it's impossible.

Even for a particle moving toward a blackhole ,the maximum limited speed is c=299792458 m/s according to all inertial observers stationary. What happens is called the event horizon (From these observers point of view, the particle approaches the blackhole but never goes further than a limit).

yes well maybe people in the future have regulations towards time-traveling. maybe there are people here from the future but we havent noticed them yet.

i read a book on quantam time traveling... tricky stuff but its theortically possible. just shrink to millionth time smaller than a atom, find a opening in space fabric, and ultimately end up in a different universe, different time.

I think it'll be possible to travel to the future, but not back. I think it's been done in a lab already, but with photons of light.

In my opinion, I think it may be possible to travel back in time... through black holes. Several scientists have been working on this theory. It may not be possible for the travel for many, many years to come, however.

sure in one course: the destiny. to realize this, you want a very speedy spaceship that can shuttle to a significant fraction of the cost of light. you will journey time contraction alongside right here formulation t' = root (a million -v^2/c^2)*t the place t' is the time you journey t is the time skilled with the aid of a table certain observer (e.g earth) v is your velocity c the cost of light. as an occasion in case you have been to shuttle at 10% of the cost of light, you may journey a time contraction of ninety 9.498% no longer very magnificent. yet at 50%, time contraction could be 86.60% at ninety%, it could be 40 3.fifty 8% at ninety 9%, it could be 14.10% at ninety 9.9%, it could be 4.40 seven% So in case you may desire to get a spaceship to prevail in ninety 9.9% of the cost of light, and defend this velocity for 4.40 seven years, on your return to earth one hundred years could have long previous with the aid of. Fly for 40 4.7 years, and are available back to earth one thousand years later. So in concept you may shuttle forward in time. just about there are some snags. With increasing velocity , only like time contracts, your mass augments interior the comparable proportion (e.g. if time runs 10x slower, your mass is 10x bigger. which you would be able to journey the comparable stress on your seat, you may want to decrease your acceleration because your mass extra beneficial (bear in mind F=ma). additionally it could replace into increasingly extra complicated to circulate at those speeds and in all possibility your physique could go through intense trauma (as an occasion each heartbeat could require plenty extra potential).
