absolutely not... I married for love

I tried to marry someone I thought was for love AND money, but he just turned out to only be good for his $$.

Now I am more in love than I have ever been, living paycheck to paycheck.

I just had someone who did marry for money tell me the other day:
"Look at you.. you have a beautiful family, and a great husband that makes you happy... and me.. I can have whatever I want, but I'll never be genuinely happy like you"

Moral of the story: Money & materials don't equal happiness.... The one free thing in life is love, and it's the most valuable thing anyone could ever give to another

No, but I am marrying into money. I'm just not marrying him for the money. I love him so much.

Nope! Just like financial strains can make a marriage difficult, so can having and abundance of money. Money covers up lots of things and can make a relationship just as difficult.

That's a bad reason to get married but people do it all the time. my wife and I were both broke when we got married, so we must have married for love. :~)

yes and come to find out he's doesn't have much and I'm not attracted to him. I've learned my lesson. I did fine when I was alone and he complicated my life so it was not worth it. I will never marry i'll be alone and handle mine like I always did.
