How much it costs and whether you'll need parental conset depends on the state or country you live in. I don't have personal experience with it, but the descriptions I've read about the pain involved don't sound particularly pleasant.

It is dangerous... there have been reports of females dying from it... I don't know the full details, but I wouldn't risk taking it. Condoms are more convenient... easier to obtain & cheaper to buy. I believe you need to see a doctor to get the pill.
