We have lots of famous members. I love being a libertarian. Conservative and common sense, it's a good thing. :-)

Are you really a political party if most of what you do is turned inwards towards the members rather than to any activism? My co-worker is a libertarian. He proudly proclaims his ideals, and argues that economies will eventually fix the world. However, since he is not about to do anything constructive at the moment, most of his stance consists in criticizing everyone else (yes, this is also a problem with Dems and Republicans, but not to this extent). I think to be a political party you need to also offer constructive solutions to the public forum.
Most Libertarians refuse to even consider the multitude of problems that exist in society, arguing that they will all magically disappear if the economy works freely.
That makes you a political movement, not a party. I would actually even argue the political (polis, public sphere NOT economic sphere). Perhaps economic movement would be more appropriate.

That's great but it doesn't help get any closer to the White House. Why don't you do something PRODUCTIVE instead of asking stupid insipid questions?
