Well 10 million seems to be a lot of money but if you are not carefull it will be gone soon, a lot of people that get money by inheritance or by settlements or lawsuits usually blow their money within 5 years, I have seen it happen plus what do you have to prove to them, invest and live off the revenue and interest that you get, once you start touching the principal is going downhill, yes enjoy it but also make sure it will last you for ever, have some fun but dont let the money take over!!! Thats my opinion

Hey you can do with your money what you choose; however, personally it is rude and will piss people off. Think of the people out there that could REALLY use the money. If you have an extra million to waste, then donate to your choice of charity and include in your taxes at the end of the year.

Ten million dollars is not alot of money. Make sure you put at least 8 million of it away for the things you didnt even think of and trust me you wont of even heard of half of them. If you want to burn a million blow it on something that no one you know would ever or could ever do so you can brag about it all the time. They would just laugh at you if you burned it. And make sure you dont change your lifestyle because its a none revolving account its a one time deal once its gone its gone. Thanks for listening

Get a good financial adviser and tell them that you want conservative investments. Then go to school and take some classes in investing and finance. As for burning $1 million in public, what a waste. Find an organization that you have a passion for: a charity, church, school, research, etc. and give it to them in memory of your loved one that passed on.

Thats a lot of money.... I would say live it up!!!!!! I would... I would so burn that 1 million, and have fun... Just don't buy things that you can't afford after you use up that 10 mill.... ie cars, homes and such... but I would say invest some of it.... so you will have some for the kids, and retirement... etc... and Live it Up!!! Blow the crap outta that 1 million... and Have Fun!!! If this is true... that would be so awesome... ! Congratulations!!!

Over in Russia when Communism was in force, they would ask "Commrad, if you had 2 cars would you give the state one?" The Communist peasant would say "Yes, 1 for the state!" Then they would ask him "Commrad, if you had 2 houses would you give one to the state?" The peasant would say "Yes, 1 for the state." Then they would ask "Commrad, if you had 2 shirts would you give one to the state?" The peasant answered "No!"
"Why not, commrad?"
"I have two shirts, thats why."
If I had 10 million I would burn ALL of it...you know why?
I AIN'T GOT 10 MILLION, THAT'S WHY.

I wouldn't burn it. 10 million can go to better use than that and make people angrier LONGER! Have a nice house built or hire a bunch of people to do trivial stuff around your house.

Maybe donate a million to help some starving kids...

Put some in a trust, put a bunch into mutual funds, buy a lot of property and buildings, get a nice reliable vehicle (or 2), get a new wardrobe, and have fun doing whatever you want! I'd suggest traveling the world!

If you could help a person out, why not do that instead? I could use about $75,000 if ya could spare it. Trying to take care of a family and get a college degree in radiology is a lot of work and takes a lot of money. Just a suggestion.
