i got hijacked when i go to explorer it takes me to a place i don't want to go. i looked at internet ops, and it was the one i wanted, but some how they are putting it on the address bar, so i thought if i see the programs , i could remove it. just need to know how to see what programs i have on my browser, but don't know how to get to it. i'm running windows xp sp2

You really don't have programs on your browser, but Internet Explorer allows "Browser Helper Objects" to affect your browser. Some of these will always give you a tool bar, force you to a search page or unwanted help page, or open pop-up windows.

Download Adaware's free version of their software. It is the quickest, easiest solution for addressing these spyware and malware type of applications.

Hi, there are something wrong with your IE. i recommand you to try firefox. which is more safe than IE.

it can block that annoying ads and disable any virus on webpage. as you know, most virus are spread through internet.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

get spybot search and destroy and ad adware
download from download.com
scan and remove this spyware
once removed
go to mozilla.og
and download firefox
the best and safest browser ever
