I bought a bag that says Burberrys of London Blue Label.Is it a fake?

I'm quite confused as to whether or not the Burberry brand is "Burberrys" or "Burberry" . I bought a bag that says Burberrys of London Blue Label and am bothered as to whether I bought an authentic item or not. I hope someone can tell me if there is a difference. Thanks

its a fake bought a bag that said that went to new york to sell it cuz i have a bag shop called gucci which u probaly have heard of and they said it was fake some of my employees who have worked for gucci for years said that it was fake

Well, I looked at the website and i couldnt find anything saying "burberry'S" with an "s"...but really thats not a good indicator as to whether your bag is a knock off or not. I personally love knock offs, I own tons and the distributers of knock offs dont really take time to protect the copyrights of the companys whos designs they are stealing. I have bags Gucci, Prada, Louis Vutton, and all the logos, spelling and bag designs are correct. The only bags i know of that you can tell are knock off by looks is Louis Vutton. His designs, he would never put 2 colors next to each other, adn of course with knock off Louis Vutton bags you'll find the same colors in the same rows and beside one another. In any case, look at the location you bought the bag from, adn how much you paid, if it is a reputable place and you paid a pretty penny, it is probably an original, if it wasnt, then its probably a knock off!!! No matter tho, Knock offs are just as functional as the real thing :)

It's not necessarily a fake.
In 1999, the brand changed it's name from 'burberrys' to 'burberry'. Therefore, the purse may just be an older vintage product from before the change of name.

this looks pretty real to me but there are special places you can go dotted around the country that you can take the bag to and get it seen by a professional who could spot a fake a mile away. Sorry i can't really tell - it's not something that can be judged easily by sight it's the fabrics and weight of the thing that often gives it away - fakes are getting better and better these days so to anyone looking into purchasing a bag please be careful that you are not being ripped off!! Hope this helps ;)

It is "Burberry," not "Burberrys."

One way to tell is to look at the lettering on the label(s). Usually the fonts are slightly different or else the letters are unmatched (slight inconsistencies), or some letters are not aligned with an imaginary bottom rule.

Also, counterfeit handbags normally say "Made in China" somewhere.

yeah its fake, the real ones usually say just burberry not 'burberrys'.
