I had a couple classes with people in their 50's, usually there finishing up degrees, cool to have in class because they were like extra teachers adding additional insight on topics, plus they'd do all the work in group projects since they had nothing better to do while we were out partying at bars

I had an art class with a woman who had actually attended rallies at which Adolph Hitler spoke. She would have to step outside a couple of times during class to smoke. This was in the 80s, so I guess she wasn't really that old.

I don't know, maybe 45 or 50. But he wasn't in the class as often, as I was. The rest of the time, I was the oldest one, but nobody knew it.

68 and he was studying medicine because his granddaughter had been afflicted with a disease for which we have no cure and he was studyin to help her, was one of the most movin stories i ever heard at uni
