I am moving to Boston in a month, and I was wondering what cell phone provider has the best coverage in Boston?... What would you all recommend?

... I understand that large cell phone providers will get coverage in Boston... I am just wondering what the primary or best provider out of them all is... which ones have problems....etc.

I like Cingular... a few of my friends and myself have it and we always seem to have service when others don't.

However, like you said, any big company will be fine.

But I still prefer Cingular. I had AT&T before Cingular bought them out, so I've now been with them for 6 years and the service has always been great... fairly good deals, too. Their plans are national so you don't get roaming or long distance fees, which is good if you are moving here and still want to keep in touch with people at home.

I've never been to Boston but I'm sure any large cell phone provider would get great coverage in a large city like Boston.

It is a toss up between Verizon, Cingular and Sprint. I have not heard anything good about T-Mobile.

I have had Sprint for about 8 years now, and I find that it works fine in the city. I only have problems when I travel to northern New Hampshire or Maine.

I have Cingular and it works great in the city. I had Sprint/Nextel and they have the most horrible service ever in Boston!

I find that most people I know here have either Cingular or Verizon and they are the most pleased.
