A small tennis ball type shape is petruding in my armpit and is filled with infection. I am allergic to penecillin and sulfa products so antibiotics are limited. I am searching for any relief I can get to avoid a surgical procedure. Any suggestion are welcome. GMM

Sorry, that word must be seriously misspelled, so I'm taking a guess here. Sometimes lymph nodes become blocked and infected. It needs surgery to correct, nothing else will do it. Go to your doctor. Get the surgery.

Possibly have a procedure to slice a whole to allow drainage, at that point be numbed and perhaps use some hydrogen peroxide.

I am not a doctor.

i wouldn't fear the surgical procedure too much...you want to avoid it rupturing and spilling the pus in your body!

Ask your doctor if it can be aspirated or injected with an antibiotic that you can tolerate.
