I'm so very sorry, angel. The East will only have one team in there this year. The wildcard belongs to either the White Sox or Tigers. I hope the team you like wins the East though.

Its hard to say whos gonna make the playoffs from the AL east. It could very well be two teams. Im gonna rule the Blue Jays out now and say I think Boston will win the division. The wild card is gonna come down to the wire and be close between the White Sox, Yankees and Tigers.

If it is two teams it will be the Red Sox and Yankees. However, at this point in the season it seems that either the Tigers or the White Sox will be in position to take the Wild Card, making it impossible for two teams to make the playoffs from the AL East. Research the standings, because two teams will not make the playoffs from the AL East this year.

Sorry to dissapoint, but two teams wont make the playoffs from the AL East, just the Yankees b/c they always catch the Red Sox. The way I see it the Yanks are playing well now even though they're hurt. Eventually they'll be healthy again and the BoSox better watch out.
Two teams from the A.L. Central will make the playoffs. The Detroit Tigers and the Chicago White Sox.

Only one team -- Boston --- will make it in the AL East. I see either the White Sox or Tigers winning the AL Central, with the second-place team from that division as the wild card.

Only ONE team will make the playoffs out of the East.
The wild card comes the Central Division this year (for the first time).
Have you not been keeping up with the current standings? Hello? The Detroit Tigers clearly are the best team of any team in the east.

If two make it, it will be New York and Boston. Toronto will fade as we come down the stretch and Boston doesn't have the pitching. A one man rotation (Beckett isn't that good- look at his ERA!) can't carry a team so the Yankees will win the division, again.

I think only one team will make the playoffs from the AL East.
The Wildcard is going to the second-place finisher in the Central.
I pick Boston. They're a well-rounded team.

uhh .. the winner of the AL east will be the Bo sox .. and niether will win the Wild card , because the wid card will either be chicago or detriot.. New york did just sweep the white sox .. but that doesnt change my prediction about them, unless they go out and make a big trade they will fall into third place in that division..
Red Sox win Al East
