Are you afraid of dieing?

It crosses my mind sometimes, but usually the thought of it is peaceful... restful. It's not that I'm hoping to die or want to die. Not at all. But when it does cross my mind, say before I go to sleep or during prayer or something... my thoughts and words are usually something like:
"Yeah Jesus, it's rough down here sometimes. But you already know that..."
I believe dying will be like going home... hopefully.... God willing that I will be with Him in Heaven.

Think of death all the time, hope for it sometimes. I'm not afraid of dieing I don't want to live to be old.

I go through phases. Sometimes I'll be in the middle of something at work or with friends and I'll think out of nowhere, 'holy ****, im going to die someday' and ponder it for a minute, then i get back on track and get back to whatever I was doing.
When I go to sleep, I usually dwell on the 'what if's' of what will happen after this life, but I don't really get too involved since it's impossible to know for sure and could downplay the moment you are existing now.

At 64, what do you think? No, I'm not afraid of death. I fear the process. I've been right at the door a couple of times and know there is nothing to fear. It's the process of dying that is so hard.

I'm afraid of a painful death but I'm not really afraid of what happens afterwards.

Thought about it, couldn't figure out a way around it, excepted the inevitability. Not necessarily afraid of dying, but not to crazy about the pain usually associated with it.

Sometimes I think about death as in how the world would be a better place if a certain person were to die.
Sometimes I think about death as in I'm not going to be here forever, y'know.

The last time I seriously though about death I was hooked to a heart monitor, a chest tube, an IV, and oxygen in the ICU. It wasn't so frightening.

how can you not think about death? it's everywhere that you go. Sometimes i think i will be better off once death takes me, but then i think how people might miss me. So yeah i think about death all the time, and not just my own, but other people's also. It's really hard not to...

i always think of death im not afraid to die came close more than once so it doesnt scare me but i do worry bout my bf n my two boys
