I had a dream recently where I was trying to teach an adult blonde woman to add numbers between 10 and 99 (2 digit numbers). The fact that she was blonde did seem to matter, but I can't figure out why. Also the numbers 31, 49, and 80 (which incidentally 31+49=80) also seemed to matter a lot. She kept saying she couldn't do it, but I kept trying to tell her she had just intimidated herself out of being able to do it and that I could help her. But she kept believing she couldn't and I left frustrated that she wouldn't work with me to learn it, and that is when I woke up. I want to understand the dream because I believe dreams are messages from a subconscious to help with problems, but I can't figure out what's important about her being blonde, or 31, 49, and 80. Any ideas on what this might mean?

Let me analyze this dream for you.
first of all, those numbers may not be important, the important things why are you dreaming of that.
Blonde = dumb to most people
Math = Tough subject for many Americans
31+49=80 = just some simple math equation.
Subconsciously, you want to help a person who do not understand a simple math. That show a couple things
First, you may not get any admire from any one and you may be an impatient individual. So, subconsciously, you projected a dumb blonde to learn from you. You want to feel great, and you want to feel appreciated. In the day time, you probably don't get much of it. So, you vent it out in dream. A easy math question should not be difficult to a person. However, to your disappointment, this dumb blonde is not getting it. That shows the second thing of your personality. You may be impatient. You are not the type that can stay longer to teach a person.
I am not sure if you are a teacher or not, but all the dream seems to me that you want some approval and some appreciation from someone. Dumb Blonde could be someone who is your peer or someone who is smarter or have high authority than you. You could have projected a person as dumb blonde so that you can vent out your hidden anger.

The blond thing has to do with you and the way you look at blond woman. You must have heard many or some jokes about blond women that are not smart. I am sure you have nothing against blond women. The number theory is you believing that blond women aren't really dumb. You really believe that they are as smart as every body else no matter what you have heard.

One way to look at dreams is to assume that everyone in the dream is you or a part of you, e.g. different aspects of your personality.
Are you involved in anything right now in which you might feel (a little) incompentent, intimidated, or inadequate? If so, the blonde is probably you and she is expressing how you feel in this particular case.
The numbers may not be significant except that the task being performed is fairly simple, and the result obvious. Do you have any feelings/experiences like that?

you get totally frustrated when you cannot control someone.i don't think the blonde or the specific numbers have anything to do with it.it's just the way your dream appeared to deliver the message to you that you should try to not be so controlling.
