i dont want to have to order meals. i want something that i can do right at home. i want to be able to get what ever i need for the diet at the grocery store or at the mall somewhere.

Cut your intake 500 calories.

Stop the junk food and sodas.

Increase your consumption of raw vegetables.

Exerices five days a week for at least 30 minutes

You are smart to want to lose only a few pounds per week. I would recommend that you start by making sure that you are getting 6 - 8 glasses 8 oz. each of water through out the day. Also be sure that your meals are well balanced. I haven't tried it yet but I bought a South Beach Diet book from Walmart, the paper back book. It was maybe like 3 or 4 bucks and it gives you charts to follow. There is phase 1, 2, and 3. Phase 1 is the strictest phase but you shed alot of pounds and it lasts 2 weeks. Then you move to phase 2 where you reintroduce foods back into your diet. Phase 3 is for maintaining your weight. I met a patient who told me about it and she is VERY thin. She was real heavy but went on the South Beach Diet. Try it, it can't hurt.

I did weight watchers with my mom. Lost about 2.5 lbs a wk on avg. Basically eat lots of veggies which are considered no points, and portion control. Along with excercise or pretty much any physical activity you should be good to go.

Eat in moderation and exercise. I lose up to 5lbs per week because of my eating habits and me exercising at least 30 minutes to an hour everyday.

Skip eating unnecesarily. Eat your meals and eat them well.

Eat only when hungry.

Drink water instead of soda. drink diet soda instead of regular.

limit pasta and breads. If you need to eat bread do in in the morning or before you become most active.

u could do yoga everday and lose 1-2 lbs a day. instead of a week

I lost three stone in two months!!
