Hi, are there any magazines out there for plus sized people? Over the years I've seen a few come and go (amongst which I'd rank "Mode" as the best, I wish they hadn't stopped making it!), but a trip to Chapters recently didn't turn up any such mags. Are any plus sized mags being published and sold at book stores, etc?
...And if not, why (given the high percentage of people who wear a size higher than 12) do you think that is?

Not only are there no 'plus' size magazines available, I personally do not like the limited fashions for larger women. I always have a problem with tops/shirts being too short thus making me look like I am stuffed in a too small shirt. I have now started wearing tops/shirts two sizes too big, just for the length!!!

A few magazines will have what looks good on bigger people but I haven't found any whole magizines. ( However those magazines get letters from docters children saying relatively unkind things and discouraging that. I like seeing that even though I'm not plus size but can't wear juniors or most misses.)

I am plus size (18), and I would like to see more stores that carry plus size clothing. I have never seen a plus size magazine either.

I dont know of any mags other than Mode, sorry. And magazines are selling a fantasy and as disgusting as it is rail thin is synonomous with beauty in this country.

I like Figure magazine, but I think they only sell them at stores like Lane Bryant.

Figure magazine-Lane Bryant has it in their stores...each issue is full of full figured women of all shapes and sizes.

hi, i found LL Bean's 1,2 and 3x fashions nice and good quality - i buy on line
also nordstrom.com has good plus sizes
