First of all, you must learn to LOVE yourself. Realize all of your amazing qualities. Write them down! If there are things you don't like about yourself, write them down too, and try to find a way to change them. Nobody is perfect, nobody. Confidence is all about how YOU see yourself. Not how others see you. Hopefully, you don't let what others think about you affect you and decide who you are. You look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that you rock! Do things that make you feel good about yourself. The main thing is to realize that you CAN control your self esteem. Make the choice to love yourself and look at yourself in a positive light instead of a negative one. You can do it.

go to google, look up self esteem and get started learning about and working on improving yours. there's also the library and bookstores full of self esteem - self worth information.
